Furthermore, the connecting band allows for the addition of a notebook refill, providing more options for usage. The simple construction permits easy attachment of charms or beads to the elastic band or bookmark cord, enabling personalization. Users are also encouraged to add their favorite stickers or postage stamps to the cover of the notebook refill, further customizing the experience.

The leather surface is purposefully left with minimal treatment, allowing it to develop a natural patina over time. While it may be susceptible to light scratches initially, continued use will result in a more glossy and refined appearance, with the scratches becoming less visible. If desired, commercially available mink oil can be applied to the leather to deepen the color and further conceal any visible scratches.
